Boy! Am I glad to find you, Fred. You're talkin' my language: summited Mt. Washington 5 times (World's Worst Weather), bagged every high peak Eastern seaboard (except one), walked, skied and bicycled thousands of miles. Retired defense worker (GD).
So much of what you wrote resonated. I could look back and see those moments when I wasn't prepared for the jump forward. Not much I could have done about it, as I couldn't predict it and didn't have systems and people in place to help me with the leap. But looking forward, learning from that, I've see how that has to be part of the planning. Which you validated. And if can't plan for it, how do we pivot? I like the optimism. Thanks 😊

I'll be back.
Happy to have you join, David, and hope you continue to find it helpful.

Thanks Heather!
This is a great post, Fred. They always are, but the analogy is so spot on. Great work, and great info.
Thanks John. We have to keep leading out here... See you on the high ground.
I love the metaphors today. So easy to grasp and apply, which I immediately did for several aspects of my life. Useful!
Thanks Susy!
